Royal Cliff Hotels Group conducted its Workplace Fire Safety Training and Emergency Response Program together with the Office of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Chonburi.
Over one hundred selected employees from every department attended the training program which began with courses introducing staff to hazard recognition and prevention. It also tackled providing and planning responses when in emergency situations as well as introduced significant firefighting equipment such as fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and fire hoses. Delegates learned to distinguish the different types of fire and how to effectively carry out basic first aid needs. In the afternoon, the attendees applied the knowledge learned from the morning session to practical case examples while the professionally trained crew gave demonstrations in using firefighting equipment in actual situations. Throughout the program, participants greatly benefited from the well-designed fire escapes, clearly marked assembly points and wide open spaces within the Royal Cliff Hotels Group.
Mr. Antonello Passa, the General Manager of Royal Cliff Hotels Group was on hand to warmly welcome Mr. Ronnakit Ekasing, the Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City Hall who was also in attendance to help conduct this important activity.
