Banpu Public Company Limited and the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, today announced they are inviting the public to join ‘The Ninth Power Green Camp Exhibition Day’ taking place on 18 October 2014. The Exhibition Day is the highlight of ‘The Power Green Camp: Envi-Science Learning Through Action’ and will feature 70 students from grade 11 across the country who have been selected to join this year’s camp. Students will present their projects that have been developed under the theme: ‘Thai Youth Learn to Cope with Geohazards.’
On the exhibition day, 70 students divided into seven teams will present their projects which reflect creative ideas developed after learning about geohazard theory from academics and experts, as well as conducting outside-classroom activities during the six day camp to observe mechanisms and indicators prior to geohazards. Attendees can also have fun with DIY activities and bring their creations back home, as well as enjoy a show and vote on their favorite team for the Popular Vote Award. The Ninth Power Green Camp Exhibition Day will take place on Saturday, 18 October 2014 from 14.00 – 17.00 hrs at Mahidol Learning Center, Mahidol University (Salaya Campus). The event is free of charge and the public is encouraged to support Thai youth from the Power Green Camp and their creative ideas.
