Recently, Dr. Wit Soontaranun, (4th from right) Director of Sustainability at Thai Union Frozen Products PCL (TUF) recently together with 600 employees and youths to replant 16 Rai of mangrove forest at Tambon Takat Ngao, Amphur Tha Mai, Chanthaburi province. The activity was jointly held with the Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Centre and the Stree Manda Pitak School of Chanthaburi under the concept of “Reforest, Foster the People and Conserve the Environment under Royal Initiation”. The aim was to promote environmental conservation and mangrove forest preservation awareness to the local youth and support their efforts for community connectivity which is consistent with TUF philosophy on corporate sustainability in driving positive change within the community and conserving environmental
