Summit Capital Leasing, a leading provider of motorcycle leasing and hire purchase services and a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation in Japan, today announced the appointment of Yoshiko Moriizumi as Vice President of the Strategic Projects, Office of President and CEO, in response to its ambitious expansion plans to become the industry leader within five years.
Ms Moriizumi is an experienced executive with high-performance negotiation skills and a broad understanding of automotive retail finance business. After graduating from Tokyo-based Waseda University, she joined Sumitomo Corporation’s Risk management Department in 2007. To expand her experiences, she transferred to Automotive Sales Department with her responsibility for overseeing the company’s export trade of Japanese-brand vehicles to international markets, including Mexico, the United States, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. She also used to work for Sumitomo Corporation’s subsidiaries as a management in Accounting Department. After that, she moved to the Automotive Retail Finance Business Department whose responsibility is to support overseas subsidiaries in expanding their businesses to be in line with the parent company’s strategic plans.
