Bangkok--17 Oct--polyplus pr
October 2014. Valentino announces the opening of its new accessories store in Bangkok located at Siam Paragon, one of the city’s key shopping districts.
The accessories boutique offers a retail surface of 103 square meters with LED panel walls to welcome customers when entering the mall’s star dome entrance.
Valentino’s Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli collaborated with world renowned British architect David Chipperfield to design the store concept.
The concept blends classic and contemporary elements in a space envisioned as a Maison or palazzo made up of magnificent and timeless materials. The most striking element resides in the strength of the synthesis between classic and contemporary.
Classical and yet contemporary, each room is enhanced by different materials: grey Venetian terrazzo with Carrara chippings framing the floors, walls and openings.
The design of the new store is consistent with all the expressions of the Maison: to create an aesthetic that speaks to today’s public whilst preserving the traits and identity of the brand - kindness, grace and elegance. Heritage and style co-exist in the idea of a new future that is not nostalgic, but full of memories.
The Valentino store has this character and the atmosphere of a “Palazzo” - a personal space, not simply a boutique.
The Maison’s high quality craftsmanship, glamour and sophistication are seen in all aspects of the store. The boutique sets a perfect background for the Valentino collections and provides its discerning customers with an intimate shopping experience.
The store carries Valentino Garavani women’s collections.
