Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has introduced a “Never Say No” campaign providing solutions for the financial needs and concerns of its loan clients. Starting with the bank's 'SCB My Home, My Cash' program, the bank's service concept is to offer advice, options, and solutions backed by a real understanding for clients seeking loans throughout the loan approval process. 'SCB My Home, My Cash' aims to reach its target of 20 billion baht in loans this year.
SCB First Executive Vice President and Head of the Mortgage Business Division Pikun Srimahunt said that a recent bank study found that consumers applying for loans did so for a wide variety of reasons, but were concerned about their qualifications and worried that their loan applications would be rejected. To address those concerns, SCB created the “Never Say No” campaign with a “SCB brings you solutions”service concept. The bank is ready to assist clients in finding solutions by taking their limitations into account, helping them improve their financial discipline, and easing their financial burdens. The campaign kicks off with a 'SCB My Home, My Cash' program for personal loans accepting collateral in the form of residential property such as detached houses, townhouses, condominium units, or plots of land.
“Our 'Never Say No' campaign will ease our clients' concerns and boost their confidence when applying for financial solutions with us. Particularly with the 'SCB My Home, My Cash' program, the first product under this campaign, we will never say no, regardless of our clients' burdens or concerns – whether houses on consignment or run-down houses. Our aim is to bust the myths about applying for bank loans. SCB is now adjusting its role and becoming a financial advisor to discuss solutions that suit our clients best until their loan applications are approved,” Pikun added.
The bank targets 20 billion baht in loans for 'SCB My Home, My Cash' this year, and has already achieved 14 billion baht in the first three quarters. SCB is confident that it will reach its target as planned.
