A special Loy Krathong dinner is being arranged by Chyna, at Centra Central Station Hotel Bangkok on Thursday 6 November, with a set menu that combines Chinese and Western flavours and whose price of Baht 599 net per person includes a krathong to float in the restaurant’s reflection pool on the terrace, overlooking the rooftops of Chinatown.
The set menu, which is available for individuals and groups, starts with a spicy pomelo salad with minced pork and deep-fried shallots. The soup is a double-boiled superior prawn wonton, followed by a main course of grilled seabass served with mashed potato and dill sauce. Dessert is tiramisu, followed by a cup of double-boiled lemongrass tea with goji berry Chinese herbs.
Chyna offers indoor and outdoor seating and has views out across Bangkok’s Chinatown district. The restaurant has its own bar, and private rooms are available.
