Dow Thailand organized the ‘Weirs for the King’ activity on the ‘CSR Day presented by Dow’ project at the Ban Khao Poodorn - Huay Ma Had Reservoir in Rayong province to glorify His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 88th anniversary. With an aim to help prevent soil erosion, prevent the wildfire, reserve water resources for wild animals and local agriculture, and sustainably conserve the nature, more than 300 executives and employees including the families have participated in 5 rounds of the weir construction activity which were arranged in August 2014. The project well highlighted Dow Thailand’s commitment to the environment and corporate social responsibility which the Company always takes into consideration throughout half of century of business operation in Thailand.
