Siam Commercial Bank President Mrs. Kannikar Chalitaporn (2nd from right) and Ms. Supalak Foong, Director of Kanok Furniture and Decoration (2nd from left), are pictured participating in the signing ceremony for an agreement to provide US$60 million in financial support for renovation of the Kempinski Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar. The reconditioning is a joint venture project initiated by Kanok Furniture and Decoration and the JL Group Myanmar in preparation for tourism and service industry growth in Myanmar, with the project slated for completion by 2016. The signing ceremony took place recently at SCB Headquarters.
