Angelini at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok presents a magical night of food and wine featuring Italy’s great wines from Beni di Batasiolo – renowned winery in the Langhe area of Piedmont alongside six courses creatively paired by Chef Omar Ugoletti for one night only on Saturday, 1 November 2014.
The evening is a voyage that takes diners to six courses of delectable Italian dishes to perfectly match with Batasiolo wines from Tartare of Australian Beef Tenderloin with Ice Cream of Parmesan and Porcini Mushroom paired with Langhe Chardonnay Vigneto Morino, 2011; to Pan-Fried Red Snapper, Crust of Flavoured bread, Lard and Clams Parsley Sauce paired with Barbera D’Alba Sovrana, 2009; Braised Wagyu Short Ribs with Polenta, Spinach, Baby Turnips, and Barolo Red Wine Sauce paired with Barolo Vigneto Corequio, 2004. A representative from Batasiolo will also be present to give diners an insight into the mastery of wine pairing.
The six-course set dinner paired with Batasiolo wines is priced at Bt2,700++ per person.
