Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok once again welcomes guests to celebrate a full moon night of Loy Krathong by the Chao Phraya River on 6 November 2014 and experience a mystical evening of music and culture of Thailand’s four regions and a spectacular fireworks display.
The enchanting Loy Krathong night features the beauty and charm of Thailand’s most popular festival through live entertainment, such as the popular Thailand-based European artists Jonas and Christie who will entertain guests with their Thai musical talent; Thai classic folk and contemporary dances from the four regions of Thailand; Muay Thai Show; the Miss Noppamas Beauty Contest; and raffle draws.
Guests can opt for a Loy Krathong celebration at the following venues:
- Riverfront Poolside
Celebrants will be treated to a sumptuous Thai buffet and entertainment that includes performances from Jonas and Christie, Thai classical folk dances, the Miss Noppamas Beauty Contest and Muay Thai Show. The cost is Bt5,500 net per person.
- Horizon Cruise
This nautical restaurant offers an international buffet and perfect seats forobserving candlelit krathongs floating in the Chao Phraya, as well as watching the colourful fireworks display on the river.The cost is Bt4,950 net per person.
- NEXT2 Café
Guests can watch the live broadcast of festivities on the main stage on largeTelevision screens while enjoying an array of international buffet from livecooking stations.

Guests can experience an Italian set menu prepared for Loy Krathong in air-conditioned comfort or alfresco dining in Angelini’s breezy terrace.
