Recently at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, 22nd Floor, Mr. Banthoon Lamsam, KASIKORNBANK Chairman of the Board, and representatives of 35 allied banks from nine countries – Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Lao PDR – announced the Bangkok Declaration to organize Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum, a platform where expert bankers join for the development of training courses and human resources, as well as exchanging information and experience. The program is aimed at offering international standard banking services prior to the AEC advent.
