The Okura Prestige Bangkok proudly presents two exciting venues for Father’s Day celebrations this year as the nation salutes the 87th birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol. At the hotel’s award-winning signature restaurant Yamazato, families are invited to enjoy the special set lunch and Kaiseki set dinner menus from 29 November to 7 December 2014.
“The set lunch is truly remarkable value with courses that include grilled salmon, a simmered dish, shrimp tempura and steamed rice with sea bream,” explains Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara. “The seven-course Kaiseki dinner menu is also fantastic value. We begin with a starter course (grilled oyster and tomato) followed by soup; grilled cod; sashimi selection that includes tuna belly; grilled snowfish; chef’s choice beef steak; rice dish and dessert. What an amazing way to celebrate such an important day in Thailand.”
The set lunch at Yamazato costs Baht 800++ per person. The Kaiseki seven-course dinner is priced at Baht 3,000++ per person.
DADS EAT FOR FREE AT UP & ABOVE
At Up & Above restaurant at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, all fathers receive a gift and eat for free in family groups of four at the celebration Father’s Day Brunch on 5 December 2014. The Brunch, served from 12 noon until 4:00 pm, is priced at Baht 2,400++ per person (food only) and Baht 3,100++ per person with selected free-flow drinks.
