Thai alternative bourse welcomes NCL International Logistics

Bangkok--10 Nov--SET The Market for Alternative Investment (mai), under The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) group, will list NCL International Logistics pcl, an international and domestic freight transportation company, on November 11, under the ticker symbol "NCL”. The company has a market capitalization at its initial public offering (IPO) of THB 756 million (approx. USD 23.26 million). mai President Prapan Charoenprawatt said NCL offered a full range of freight transportation services and tailor-made logistics solutions for exporters and importers, aiming at managing the flow of goods to destinations timely and cost-efficiently. The company rendered international freight transportation services both air and sea, as well as domestic services by means of trucks and trailers. Currently, it had 50 trucks and 98 trailers and focused on exporter, importer and freight forwarder. NCL has a paid-up registered capital of THB 105 million, consisting of 325 million existing common shares and 95 million newly-issued shares, with a par value of THB 0.25. The new shares issued were offered to the general public via initial public offering (IPO) during November 3-5 at THB 1.80 each for a total of THB 171 million. Finnex Advisory Co., Ltd. is its financial advisor, while Apple Wealth pcl is its lead underwriter. Kitti Phuathavornskul, NCL's Chief Executive Officer, said that the listing on mai was a significant step for the company to boost image, goodwill and strengthen the company’s financial status. The fund raised would be used to purchase new trucks and trailers, repay debt to financial institutions, and as working capital, boosting business opportunity and revenues to grow consistently and firmly. NCL's three major shareholders after the IPOs are Phuathavornskul family (59.05 percent), K-SME Venture Capital Co.,Ltd. (14.29 percent) ,Suksan Kittipattarapong and Aummarit Klomjitjaroen (1.19 percent each). The IPO price was equivalent to price per earnings ratio (P/E ratio) of 23.45 times, calculated by using the company's net profit in the past four quarters (July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014) divided by fully diluted shares, representing earnings per share of THB 0.08. NCL's dividend policy is to pay no less than 50 percent of net profits after taxes and reserves. Starting from the first trading day of 2015, mai will announce eight industry groups categorizing from their business aspects, and NCL will then be classified into SERVICE sector.
