The Okura Prestige Bangkok’s signature Japanese restaurant Yamazato has launched party packages designed specifically for the traditional end of year and new year celebrations known as Bonenkai and Shinnenkai.
Yamazato Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara explains, “There is a long-held tradition amongst Japanese communities around the world to bid farewell to a year that’s about to end with a Bonenkai party. Each new year, business associates meet socially over dinner to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead in what is known as a Shinnenkai.”
Yamazato offers three set menus priced at Baht 1,500++, 2,000++ and 2,500++ for both party occasions every day from 6:00 pm - 10:30 pm.
Bonenkai is celebrated at Yamazato from 8 to 27 December 2014. Shinnenkai new year party dates are from 6 to 25 January 2015.
