K.E. Group, in a partnership with S.B. Furniture, have jointly developed a new lifestyle shopping mall “The Crystal SB Ratchapruek”, bringing together three major firms including The Mall Group, SF Cinema, and Fitness Firstto provide the most comprehensive lifestyle experience on Ratchapruek Road. With a total project value of 3 billion baht, The Crystal SB Ratchapruek is the largest and grandest mall on the road. The total land area is approximately 28 rais and the gross area is more than 85,000 sqm, including parking spaces for 1,600 vehicles. The Crystal SB Ratchapruek will offer the most comprehensive and widest range of tenants yet for any lifestyle community mall in Thailand with the main anchors of SB Design Furniture, Gourmet Market, SF Cinemas, and Fitness First. In addition, the shopping center will host more than 200 other top-class restaurants, fashion boutiques, lifestyle service shops, and schools. The Crystal SB Ratchapruek targets the new generation of people who not only has a higher purchasing power but also likes to spend time with their families in the relaxing atmosphere of a lifestyle shopping mall. Kaveepan Eiamsakulrat, the managing director of K.E. Group, believes that The Crystal SB is a new generation of the lifestyle community mall. Unlike the older community malls, The Crystal SB has added more options such as a home decorative store, a cinema, and a fitness. At the same time, it preserves the easy-going and charming neighborhood atmosphere of community malls. The Crystal SB also preserves The Crystal’s distinctive Californian architecture and green outdoor spaces, and there will be both an indoor and an outdoor area.

Highlights of The Crystal SB Ratchapruek’s 200 tenants are:
1. Restaurants featuring cuisines from around the world—Thai, Japanese, French, Italian, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, and Vietnam—as well as wine bars, casual bistros, bakeries, and trendy cafes.
2. In the lifestyle service zone, there are the five major banks of Thailand, including Bangkok Bank, SCB, K Bank, Bank of Ayudhaya, and Krung Thai Bank, and IT services, bookstores, bike shop, and others. Banks will be open on November 7, 2014.
3. An education zone which features a wide range of schools for children of all age, such as math, languages, music, or art for instance. There is also a playground area designated solely for children.
4. Fashion and jewelry boutiques for all ages and gender. There are also spas, beauty clinics, and dental clinics in the beauty zone.
5. Gourmet Market by The Mall Group, which will open on November 20, 2014.
6. Eight movies theatres by SF Cinema, which will open on November 20, 2014.
7. In the sports section, there will be a Fitness First as well as sports apparel brands from some of the world’s global brands.
8. SB Design Furniture for home decoration, which will open from November 1, 2014.
Supanavit continued, “We expect our catchment area to be about 10 kilometers, consisting of Ratchapruek, PinklaoRatanathibet, Bangbuathong, and Nonthaburi. This demographic is mostly in the middle- and upper-class, and they have a high purchasing power. Gourmet Market, the top premium supermarket chain, has an area of more than 2,000 sqm. It will be the first Gourmet Market branch in Western Bangkok, where Gourmet Market executives believe has a great high-end consumer group due to the influx of new luxury housing projects in the area. The supermarket will stock more than 20,000 products from around the world to satisfy the different lifestyles of residents in the area.
SF Cinema will showcase a new concept of “The Cinema Garden” featuring 8 premium movie theatres with the most up-to-date sound and visual technologies, including SONY Digital 4K and 3D. The total capacity is 1,800 seats and there will also be an Exclusive Lounge for customers.
