Established in 1987 and registered as a charitable organisation No. 255 under the laws of Thailand, the EDF Foundation has provided more than 321,273 scholarships to students in 46 provinces around Thailand.
For its commitment to help the less fortunate children especially on education in Thailand for some 27 years, the EDF Foundation has received with several awards, including Thai Morality Award from the Association of the Union of the Disabled of Thailand in 2014, The Golden Kalapapruek Award from Khon Kaen University in recognition of the foundation’s continuous development of scholarship programmes and educational development projects in 2013, and Thailand NGO Awards 2012 for large organisation category organised by the Rockefeller Foundation, Kenan Institute Asia and the Resource Alliance in 2012 and more.
