"Banpu Table Tennis Club" Players Join 6-month Professional Training Program in China

Bangkok--8 Dec--Hill+Knowlton Strategies Three members of Banpu Table Tennis Club (BTTC), supported by Banpu Public Company Limited, travelled to China to join a 6-month intensive training program for professional tennis players at the Zhengding International Table Tennis Training Center (ZITTTC), Hebei province, China. "Banpu aims to provide young Thai table tennis athletes the opportunity to enhance their skills through professional-level training programs in China, which is recognized as the world's number one country for table tennis. For four consecutive years, BTTC has supported more than 15 of its members to join these overseas training courses at the ZITTTC. This year, however, is the first time that the training program is extended from one month to six months, in order allow the youth to gain exposure to cultural, language, and life experience while overcome their limits to reach their full potentials," said Ms. Udomlux Olarn, Head of Corporate Affairs, Banpu. Zhengding International Table Tennis Training Center (ZITTTC) is one of the most respectable table tennis training centers in China, which also served as the official training camp for China's national table tennis team for the 2008 Beijing Games.
