Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai launched a brand new campaign aimed at helping Chinese Nationals to return home and gather with their families during the Chinese New Year.
About the “Light Your Way Back Home” Campaign
This brand new campaign from Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai is called the “Light Your Way Back Home”. The campaign is targeted towards individuals who have not returned home for the past three years and our hotel’s goal is to send individuals to return to Shanghai and help families reunite during the Chinese New Year and creating an occasion to remember during the Festive season while spending their time at Pudong Shangri-La.
To participate in this campaign, individuals need to send Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai a video telling us their story, about their families and about their experiences abroad. From their videos, our panel of judges representing the hotel will choose multiple winners.
The winners will be presented with a return flight ticket to Shanghai, a three days two nights stay in a Deluxe Bund Room in Pudong Shangri-La inclusive of breakfast and a private dinner for a maximum of 10 persons in a private function room with dishes prepared by our team of chefs at Pudong Shangri-La.

Contest Terms
1. In line with our guiding principal to treat strangers like family and provide hospitality from our hearts, Pudong Shangri-la Hotel, Shanghai is offering selected families the opportunity to reunite by entering our Light Your Way Home contest
2. A Video with a minimum length of 1 min describing the reasons why you should win
3. The last submission date for the Light Your Way Home Campaign is 10th January 2015
4. The Contest is valid only to those who have not returned home to China in the past 2 years
Contest Benefits
Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai will provide the winners of the “Light Your Way Back Home” contest with the following benefits:
1. Two economy air tickets from your work destination to Shanghai and return
2. Accommodation at Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai for 3 days 2 nights in a Horizon Bund Suite
3. Daily Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in Yi cafe
4. One Dinner for 10 family members in a private function room
5. Return Airport transfers
6. Pudong Shangri-La will prepare a 3 day and 2 night itinerary
The Winners Agree:
1. To participate in all media activities as scheduled by Pudong Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai
2. To grant exclusive permission to Pudong Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai to use the video and photos of the contest winner at their discretion
3. Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai will not be liable for any damages or injuries that may occur during the contest period
4. Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai will not bear the transportation cost for respective relatives and family members and and further travel expenses will be afforded by the respective winners
5. In the case of any dispute, Pudong Shangri-La reserves the right to make the final decision
