Bangkok--15 Dec--Shangri-La Hotel With the aim to spread love and care among the less fortunate, Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok welcomes this festive season by providing the visually impaired a brighter future through its “Light Up the Lives of Blind Children” Charity Christmas Tree from 12 December 2014 to 5 January 2015. Guests with a passion for giving are invited to join the hotel in the “Light Up the Lives of Blind Children” Charity Christmas Tree by donating Bt500 for a cute Sammy Santa or Santarina Teddy Bear holding a candle. They can adorn the Christmas tree in the hotel lobby themselves with both the teddy bear and candle or the candle alone and take home the teddy bear. All candles on the Christmas tree will be lit as a symbol of life-giving power and joy throughout the charity Christmas event. Proceeds will be donated to The Christian Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King as scholarship fund for the foundation’s blind students.
