New York jazz diva, Pucci Amanda Jhones lights up the night at The Living Room. With a well-deserved reputation among the jazz cognoscenti for her highly original voice, Pucci will delight music lovers with memorable performances throughout the festive season at Bangkok’s top jazz venue.
Pucci Amanda Jhones has performed from Manhattan to Los Angeles and Las Vegas to Switzerland, Japan and Kuala Lumpur. In her native New York City, she regularly delights her fans at the renowned jazz venues, Birdland, Blue Note, and Lenox Lounge. During the summer of 2010, Pucci and her quartet were part of the Central Park Summer Concert series, performing to a standing room only audience at the Dana Center. Highlights during her extraordinary musical career have included opening for the legendary trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie and Stanley Turrentine. Her latest CD, "Wild is the Wind" features inspired takes of 12 timeless jazz standards, all enriched by the inimitable Pucci touch.
Now enclosed by a new curtain for a more luxurious and intimate ambience, The Living Room is the perfect venue to experience Pucci’s enchanting performance. During her residency Pucci will be accompanied by The Randy Cannon Group led by the dynamic Randy on piano, the mesmerizing Chris Sweeney on drums, and Therdsak Wongvichien on bass.
