Photo Release: THAI and TAT jointly promote Fly and Bike Thailand Project

กรุงเทพฯ--17 ธ.ค.--Thai Airways Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently launched the Fly & Bike Thailand on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s 87th Birthday Anniversary to promote tourism in Thailand through bicycling. Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira, THAI President, officially released the bike parade of 999 cyclists. The 18.5 kilometer bike route began at the THAI Head Office on Vibhavadi Road, passing through Victory Monument, the Royal Plaza, then onward to Rama VIII Bridge over the Chao Phraya River and to Siriraj Hospital’s 100 Years Commemorative Hall, where the bicyclists wished His Majesty good health. The bike parade then moved on to Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan where participants made merits. Mr. Thawatchai Arunyik, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), also joined the activity along with members of THAI and TAT Management and staff, as well as celebrities. Supporters of the activity included Airbus Company, THAI-Amadeus Southeast Asia Co., Ltd., Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., Chang Drinking Water, Oishi Drink, Boeing Company, Amorn Bicycle, LA Bicycle (Thailand) Company, Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Rolls-Royce, Bumrungrad International Hospital, and Amorn Hamradio Company. In 2015, THAI and TAT plan to offer special promotions for visitors to tour the country through cycling.
