PennWell Corporation today announced its flagship event ASEAN Power Week, the largest and most comprehensive conference and exhibition for the power generation industry in South-East Asia, will return to Bangkok for 2015.
The regional event is expected to attract more than 7,500 delegates from over 70 countries from across South East Asia and around the world, and brings together POWER-GEN Asia, Renewable Energy World Asia and the POWER-GEN Asia Financial Forum, under the one roof at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Centre, Bangkok on 1-3 September 2015.
Dr. Heather Johnstone, ASEAN Power Week Event Director, said the team are excited to be returning to Bangkok for the third time in four years after being hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2014.“ASEAN Power Week provides the power generation industry with a one-of-a-kind event, and in 2015 we are aiming to bring our largest delegation to Thailand yet. Under the theme Investing in a Sustainable Tomorrow, the event highlights the industry’s focus on low carbon energy technologies. Increasingly, renewable energy generation is becoming a high priority for governments in the region, adding to the already great need for investment, whilst the conventional power generation industry is in higher demand than ever before,” she said.

Coinciding with the announcement of next year’s event, PennWell is now accepting paper abstracts for the 2015 event.
“We are pleased to extend the invitation to industry experts across the region to submit an abstract for ASEAN Power Week 2015 for them to represent their company at the most prestigious event in the power generation industry. This is an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge, experience and ideas with technical and strategic decision-makers and strategists,” said Dr. Johnstone.
“These abstracts will help our expert advisory board develop a programme that addresses the most pressing issues of the industry and that aims to educate and engage our delegates and the wider power generation industry. A more detailed announcement of the programme’s details will be made next year.”
In 2015, POWER-GEN Asia will celebrate its 23rd annual gathering with a comprehensive conference programme for the power generation industry, positioning it as the region’s premier conference and exhibition for all aspects of the power generation industry.
Renewable Energy World Asia will again bring together professionals and industry experts from the renewable energy industry and includes a two-track conference focusing on all aspects of low carbon energy including hydro, wind and solar.
POWER-GEN Asia Financial Forum is devoted to financing renewable and conventional power projects. It enables attendees to learn about new opportunities, developments in current deals and trends across the ASEAN region, providing a 360° view of the industry that will inform decisions being made by the investment community.
The three-day long event also boasts a large exhibition floor demonstrating the latest and leading technologies and solutions, and delivering a quality audience and experience to all who exhibit and attend, enabling high-level networking and business opportunities for delegates and sponsors.
