InterContinental Bangkok has successfully secured title of Asia’s Top Business Hotel during the NOW Travel Asia Awards 2014 Gala Ceremony, held in Bangkok on 4 December 2014.
Since 2012 NOW Travel Asia has been recognizing travel-related businesses with awards across 20 categories. In only three years the award program has received tremendous interest and response from travel-industry professionals, magazine subscribers as well as tourists and the general public in a range of countries. This year’s award ceremony aimed to place NOW Travel Asia Awards on the world stage and present the magazine as one Asia’s leading travel publications. The event also stressed the importance of emphasizing the continued growth of Asia’s travel sector.
The NOW Travel Asia Awards 2014 Gala Ceremony was attended by more than 200 leaders in Asia’s travel and hospitality industries, including hotel, spa, airline, restaurant and entertainment businesses. The event allowed professionals to meet, exchange ideas and indeed receive well-earned recognition. And by choosing Bangkok for this prestigious event, the organizers of NOW Travel Asia 2014 likewise helped restore tourist confidence in the city and prove that Bangkok remains ready to welcome the world.
