Photo Release: Launch The EXPAP Project help patients iron overload

Bangkok--30 Dec--Core & Peak Recently, Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health Thailand, Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health (QSNICH) Thailand, and Thalassemia Foundation of Thailand (TFT) launched the patient assistant program named “EXPAP”. This program commits to helping Thalassemia patients get more access to Deferasirox, an iron chelating agent, as the standard treatment. The event was honored by Clinical Assoc.Prof. Siraporn Sawasdivorn, Director of Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health (QSNICH) Thailand, Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health Thailand (2ndfrom left), Dr.Chanin Limwongse, Secretary of the Thalassemia Foundation of Thailand (TFT) (4thfrom left) and Assoc.Prof. Vip Viprakasit, Committee of Thalassemia Foundation of Thailand (TFT), participated in a press conference to provide the guidance and the assistance for patients with iron overloads in terms of the medicine access program “EXPAP”. The event also included the experiences of patients who participate in the EXPAP Program, Ms. Pornnarin Meekrinthorm (3rd from left) at the Miracle Grand Hotel, Bangkok.
