กรุงเทพฯ--13 ม.ค.--Regent Phuket Cape Panwa
In collaboration with Phuket Aquarium, Regent Phuket Cape Panwa team led by Financial Controller- Nararat Nooplod, released seahorses and bamboo sharks to the Andaman Sea to help maintaining sustainable fish populations and preserving marine environment. Fish releasing is one of the several projects that have been undertaken to contribute to reviving Phuket’s natural beauty and ecological health, as well as increasing public awareness and understanding about marine and coastal environments. Representatives from other hotels and local units in Panwa area also participated in this activity.
Phuket Aquarium was establish in 1983 as a unit of the internationally renowned Phuket Marine Biological Center (PMBC), a research and monitoring station within the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR).
On December 15, 2014, Regent Phuket Cape Panwa had a pleasure of conducting a happiness initiative in Panwa’s community as the resort’s General Manager Brice Borin and his team invited the students from Baan Laem Panwa School to a cooking class at the resort. There were twenty two children attended this class. Through the class, children had fun and learned how to make a famous Thai dessert called “Look-Chub” which is mashed and sweetened Mung beans pasted made into cute candies, colorfully painted with food colors to look like fruit and glazed in the sweet candy. This activity is carried out to provide the children an opportunity to gain knowledge outside of school.
Mr. Borin added “At Regent Phuket Cape Panwa, we are not only committed to providing excellent services to our guests, but also ensuring the continuous positive contribution to local communities and the environment.”
