CH. Karnchang Pcl. is arranging for the Public Offering of its debenture No.1/2015, worth up to 4,000 million Baht. The tenor period is five years and 11 months, due in 2021. Subscription is scheduled in February for retail and institutional investors through KASIKORNBANK and Krung Thai Bank.
According to Mr. Panop Ansusinha, Investment Banking Business Head of KASIKORNBANK, KBank and KTB have been appointed joint underwriters of CH. Karnchang debentures of up to 4,000 million Baht. The debentures are unsubordinated and unsecured, with debenture holders’ representative, and interest payable quarterly; the issuer has the right of early redemption. The minimum subscription amount is 100,000 Baht, at the multiple of 100,000 Baht.
Mr. Prasert Marittanaporn, Director and Senior Executive Vice President Administration Group of CH. Karnchang, said that the company is now making an arrangement for the issuance of CH. Karnchang debenture No. 1/2015 which is worth up to 3,000 million Baht, with additional debentures of up to 1,000 million Baht on offer. The company will likely determine the fixed interest rate for the debentures in January, while expecting a credit rating of “BBB+”, with a “Positive” outlook, by TRIS Rating Co., Ltd., for its debentures, reflecting the company’s decent operating performance and financial flexibility. Given appropriate returns on CH. Karnchang Pcl debentures in the past, he believes that this issuance should attract a large number of investors like before.
