Thai AirAsia X, Thailand’s first low fare, long haul carrier, has joined hands with"Counter Service" to introduce an easy Book & Pay option. Starting from today (26 January 2015), Thai AirAsia X flights will be available for purchase at all Counter Service branches across the country. To celebrate the new added convenience, an exclusive promotion for direct flights from Bangkok to Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul will be available at all Counter Service branches nationwide.
Mr. Nadda Buranasiri, CEO of Thai AirAsia X, stated that “Thai AirAsia X is pleased to add another level ofconvenience to our passengers. It is our goal to offer low fares and make travel easy so that more people can experience Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul with us. In line with our motto, "Now Everyone Can Fly X-Tra Long", we are very excited to join hands with Counter Service outlets at 7-Eleven shops and other marked locations around the country. We hope that this new convenient option will attract more passengers to fly with us”.
"This is really an extension of the Book & Pay via Counter Service introduced for domestic and short haul international flights in early 2014, which was very well received. This is the first time travelers will be able to book and pay for their Thai AirAsia X flights to Japan and South Korea with ease through Counter Service, including booking services such as 40 kilograms of check-in baggage or pre-booking our 3 most popular inflight meals as little as 24 hours in advance. The three delicious meal options include Japanese Chicken Teriyaki with Rice, Tasty Grilled Chicken with Sticky Rice and Spicy Fried Rice with Chicken and Holy Basil served with a Traditional Thai-Style omelette ".“Moreover, Thai AirAsia X plans to constantly provide promotional fares through Counter Service to attract and expand its customer base across Thailand. The new channel is a new addition to existing booking options which include the airline’s website (www.airasia.com), our mobile app and our existing service counters” Mr. Nadda concluded.
Mr. Weeradej Ackapopanich, Assistant Vice President of Counter Service Co. Ltd., pointed out that this is the first time users of Counter Service’s over 9,900 outlets across Thailand will be able to book and pay for Thai AirAsia X tickets to Japan and South Korea as well as additional services such as check-in baggage and meals onboard. He affirmed the development is in line with Counter Service’s aim of becoming a leader in convenient reservation and payment. Counter Service outlets are available at 7 Eleven stores all around Thailand as well as at other marked venues.
“The Book & Pay process for Thai AirAsia X flights to Japan and South Korea is simple. Start by informing the attendant you wish to book a flight, fill out the travel information, select a route and flight and upon payment receive a receipt that can be used as an E-Ticket. To further provide confidence, an SMS is sent to re-confirm the booking. Up to 4 people can purchase tickets with a single booking code” Mr. Veeradech explained.
During the unveiling of Book & Pay at Counter Service for flights to Japan and South Korea with Thai AirAsia X, all flights booked with the system will receive an instant 200 THB discount. New Thai AirAsia flights from Bangkok to Nan, Loei, Roi Et and many more will also be starting at only 555 THB from today until 25 February 2015.
