This year’s annual ‘Season’s Greetings Donation for Charity’ project has been another outstanding success with a grand total of 590,000 Baht raised for worthy causes.
This year saw 20 leading hotels make donations to help provide a better and brighter future for children.
A total of 490,000 Baht of the money raised will go to Baan Boonler School and Baan Kokluang School in Mae Hong Son province to help rebuild and improve school facilities including water tanks, computers and stationeries and dormitories for teachers and students.
The Bangkok Post Foundation and the Nation University will also receive 50,000 Baht each.
The 20 leading Bangkok hotels taking part in the ‘Season’s Greetings Donation for Charity’ project were Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort, Dusit Thani Bangkok, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, Grand Millennium Sukhumvit, Intercontinental Bangkok, JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, Le Meridien Bangkok Hotel, Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Onyx Hospitality Group, Park Plaza Sukhumvit Hotel, Plaza Athenee Bangkok, Radisson Blu Bangkok, Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotels & Towers, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, The Peninsula Bangkok, The Landmark Bangkok Hotel and Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit.
