Trisara, Phuket’s most luxurious and private pool villa resort, has been included in Condé Nast Traveler’s dream list of top hotels in the world. It was one of only four hotels in Thailand and the only one on the island of Phuket to make the cut in the 2015 Gold List published in the January edition of the magazine.

For the first time ever, the Gold List was reinvented by asking Condé Nast Traveler editors, writers, and network of influencers, who span six continents and 37 countries, to reveal their favourite hotels in the world. According to them it was their collective response to the perennial question they get as travel editors: “What are your favourite hotels in the world?”
A prerequisite for each name on the Gold List is a high standard of service, luxury, and beauty. Yet what earned each winner a spot on the list was the unforgettable special touches that bring a hotel's ethos to life.

To emphasize this listing, Trisara has launched a number of new experiences for guests designed to make their stay at the resort truly one of a kind. For a cost of only THB 3,000++ per hour with a minimum two-hour trip, guests can now avail the services of a personal shopper. A patron of the arts and an artist herself, personal shopper Rose Maitland-Smith is not just a charming and sociable guide but also a champion for the preservation of the heritage of Phuket’s Old Town. She can guide guests to some of her unique and hidden gems on the island for a bit of retail therapy and also negotiate discounts for them.
However, if guests would like to enjoy the surrounds and activities at Trisara and do not wish to leave the property, they can still take a little piece of Thailand with them from the resort’s Thai Artisans Gallery boutique shop. The shop is stocked with locally sourced one-of-a-kind artisanal goods from designers such as Art Zorba, Benjapat and Eddie Leung among others, whose artistic and exclusive designs make for wonderful souvenirs and gifts for friends and family back home.
For the ladies, the one-day ‘Get Gorgeous’ package pampers them like a movie star or supermodel. After a steam, they are indulged with a 90-minute, six-hand massage, followed by a 60-minute Sodashi facial, a manicure, pedicure, blow-dry and makeup. They can then borrow an exquisite dress from the exceptional Trisara boutique for their very own photo-shoot around the stunning resort. The ‘Get Gorgeous’ package is priced at THB 22,000++ including a photo album of 10 photographs from the shoot as a precious memento of their exceptional pampering session.
On the other hand, thrill seekers can take a ride-of-a-lifetime on Phuket’s only gyrocopter flying over the magnificent UNESCO-listed Phang Nga bay for an up close and personal view of this phenomenal heritage site. A 30-minute flight is priced THB 11,000++, while a 60-minute flight costs THB 17,000++.
