Bangkok--3 Feb--Grant Thornton
Grant Thornton has announced record combined global revenues of US$4.7 billion driven by 4.6% growth in US dollars (4.9% in local currency) for the year ended 30 September 2014.
"I am proud of our organisation's achievements in 2014 and all credit goes to our 40,000 people in 130 countries who every day are making a difference with clients, in their workplace and in their community." said Ed Nusbaum, global CEO of Grant Thornton International Ltd. "Our goal going into 2015 is to continue to provide high quality services to our clients and to help them, and our people, unlock their potential for growth."
Grant Thornton in Thailand also saw strong growth through its focus on working with dynamic and high growth companies. Growth was strong across the whole firm reflecting a continued investment in world-class expertise, relentless focus on the highest quality service delivery and providing holistic solutions to client's needs.
Ian Pascoe, Managing Partner at Grant Thornton in Thailand said, "In 2014 we experienced 21% growth, one of the highest revenue growths we have seen since Grant Thornton was established in Thailand. Given the backdrop of a demanding year with political uncertainty and mixed global economic news, we are proud of this impressive achievement. We had predicted a successful year given our investments in highly skilled new staff and new business areas like Outsourcing as well as a strong focus on growing industries."
"A major factor of our success is our dynamic and dedicated employees. Their continual efforts and total commitment to our clients’ success has ensured a prosperous year and has no doubt determined our continued strong growth this year. As such, we will be expanding our business further by hiring an additional 100 team members in 2015."
