AirAsia celebrates Chinese New Year by joining hands with its alliances and holding grand events; “Chinese New Year Yaowarat 2015”, “Chinese New Year Paradise Park” and “China Town Festival Chiang Mai” offering chances to win return tickets from Bangkok to 10 destinations in China as well as promotional fares to China starting at only 2,094 THB per trip (price inclusive of airport tax).
Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, Director of Commercial for AirAsia, affirmed AirAsia’s leadership in the China market as the low fare airline with the most direct flights to China. As such, the airline is taking part in the grand celebration of Chinese New Year both in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. In Thailand’s capital, the airline is sponsoring the holiday’s biggest event, “Chinese New Year Yaowarat 2015”, which is being organized by the Samphantawong District office from 19-20 February 2015. Attendants will have the chance to win return tickets from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to 10 destinations in China. A total of 3 prizes will be up for grabs, each 2 seats for a total value of 150,000 THB. The carrier will also be operating an activity booth near the Chai Mongkol Gate of Yaowarat road where visitors can enjoy activities that will bring them souvenirs and gifts.
Mr. Santisuk added AirAsia is also taking part in the “Happy Go Lucky” Chinese New Year event being hosted by Paradise Park from 5 February to 8 March 2015. At the event, AirAsia will offer return tickets from Bangkok to Hong Kong and Bangkok to Macau. In Chiang Mai, AirAsia is sponsoring the Chiang Mai Municipal office’s “China Town Festival Chiang Mai” taking place this 18-20 February 2015 with an activity booth offering souvenirs and the “Fill Up! Fly Free” campaign, which allows diners of 15 of Chiang Mai’s most popular Chinese restaurants the chance to fly free from Chiang Mai to Hong Kong, Macau and Hangzhou.
