ข่าวอสังหา Wednesday February 25, 2015 13:50 —PRESS RELEASE LOCAL

Bangkok--25 Feb--Vivaldi PR Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the manufacturer of gypsum innovations for 45 years and of the leading brand “Gyproc” under Saint-Gobain Group, summarized details of its 2014 business review, noting growth had increased to double-digits at over 10%, beyond its own expectations. This achievement shows Gyproc’s strategies have been well executed, and demonstrates its commitment to preparing the business network for increasing demands in construction ready for AEC in 2015. Last year, Gyproc added two new warehouses, bringing the total count to six (in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Chonburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Surat Thani, and Samutprakarn), as well as opening more service centers. Gyproc operates Gyproc Zone installations at 20 locations, with four Gyproc Centers across the country. Mr. Richard Juggery, Managing Director of Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, said, “We are so proud to have achieved a double-digit growth figure for 2014. I would like to say thank you to all of our staff and partners for their great efforts in building upon our big success in 2014. To strengthen our business in 2015, Gyproc will focus on cooperation with partners to develop new construction innovations and launch more products and solutions. This aims to support the competitiveness of our partners and increase business growth in partnership together. Most of all, we keep to our principles - to offer sustainable products and solutions that enhance habitats in order to reduce our impact on the environment, and to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort at every opportunity.” In 2015, Gyproc will closely communicate with partners and maximise its digital marketing strategies, directly tapping into targets like homeowners, architects, contractors and retail developers. It can achieve further growth through development of its website and other online channels, enabling consumers to find product information and buy easily on their mobile phones or tablets. The year 2015 also marks a poignant milestone as it is Saint-Gobain’s 350th anniversary year. A Celebration campaign under theme “350 Reasons to Believe in the Future”, is packed full of component events, and will be held throughout 2015. As one of the world’s most successful companies with a long history, the celebration aims to reflect the confidence that Saint-Gobain enjoys from partners and consumers, making it a leading company in various business lines, i.e. Flat Glass, Packaging, Construction Products and Building Materials Distribution. The 350th anniversary comprises a series of exhibitions that will be organized in the form of futuristic traveling pavilions to showcase the Group’s capacity for innovation and its exceptional expertise in construction materials. They will tour the world and provide a sensory and artistic experience for visitors in four cities, beginning on the 9th of January in Shanghai (China), São Paulo (Brazil) in April, Philadelphia (United States) in June, and Paris (France) in October. Additionally, Saint-Gobain will offer an opportunity to people across the world to witness its virtual exhibition in five languages (French, English, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese), to be published online in February. With more than 700 archival documents, Saint-Gobain will let everyone explore, or rediscover, its history via previously unseen documents and personal accounts. The exhibition will allow visitors to enter a gallery of habitat innovations, to discover six in-depth thematic sections (Transformation of Material; From Advertising to Marketing; Saint-Gobain throughout the World; Major Achievements; The Word of Work; Corporate Governance and Culture), and to experience, thanks to a spectacular 3D reconstruction of the Manufacture des Glaces, mirror glassworks as they would have been on the eve of the French Revolution. Connected to the virtual exhibition with QR codes and translated into five languages (French, English, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese), a Saint-Gobain anniversary book will be published by Editions Albin Michel in the spring. Around this time, the group’s “World 350” game will be available (in March) as a free download for smartphones and tablets. Thompson Reuters reports that Saint-Gobain Group is present today in 64 countries with nearly 190,000 operating staff worldwide. The company is ranked in the World’s 100 Most Innovative Companies; this recognition shows the company’s tradition of innovation is embedded in its history and its identity, and the products can improve everyday life of both employees and consumers.
