Mr. Charoen Jatusaril, an alumnus of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), made a formal donation of 1 million Thai Baht towards the AIT Library Modernization Campaign. Handing over a cheque to the AIT President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai on 2 March 2015, Mr. Charoen expressed his desire to help and support his alma mater.

Prof. Worsak mentioned that Mr. Charoen was among the first to express his desire to contribute towards the rebuilding and reconstruction of the AIT library, and hoped that many more would emulate his example. “I wish to thank you for your kind-heartedness,” Prof. Worsak said as he received the gift from Mr. Charoen.
Mr. Sanjeev Jayasinghe, Director, Fundraising, and Ms. Lucena Talaid, Program Officer, Fundraising, also attended the ceremony.
Later, Mr. Charoen visited the AIT Library to gain a first-hand experience of the library renovation.
