The seminar ‘Intercultural Discourse’ was part of a collaboration between the Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Education New Zealand and the AUT.
This is the third year that DVIFA has been sending senior government officials from different Thai ministries to New Zealand for the Advanced Oral Communication Course (AOCC) at AUT, with seven batches of participants attending the courses since they began in 2012. The courses aim to develop the English language and communication skills of Thailand’s senior officials as well as to provide a cultural exchange between Thailand and New Zealand.
