The great event is organized by Mr. Suthikorn Jianpaitoon, Managing Director of Thai Alangkarn together with Ministry of Culture – Pattaya, Tourism Authority of Thailand – Pattaya Office and Thai-Chinese Culture Council to celebrate HRH Princess Sirindhorn’s 60th Birthday. The event starts from today until the 31st of May 2015 (from 5PM to 11PM) at Thai Alangkarn Theatre. Ticket prices are 150 baht for adults and 100 baht for children. Alangkarn Lantern Festival is directly imported from Zigong, Sichuan province, People Republic of China. The highlights of this event are Goat Lantern – the symbol of good fortune, Hor Fah Tian Than – the 19-metre tall lantern or the highest lantern in Thailand, There are many of fancy-shaped lanterns such as Leng Hong fan, Pixiu and delightful fish who dares to tease the dragon. Moreover, there is a 3D photo booth by a well-known Chinese artist and Sichuan Suining Acrobatic show.
