A traditional Grand Songkran was recently celebrated at Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas Hua Hin. Activities were organized throughout the day, starting auspiciously with offering alms to the respective invited monks, scented-water sprinkling over the Buddha image, pouring water to the management and Songkran parade around the Hua Hin town. The evening event was opened by a welcome cocktail with “Pee Part” Thai orchestra performance to welcome the guests. Over 140 guests enjoyed a delicious array of authentic Thai Buffet as well as spectacular Thai performances under the theme “Five Regions of Thailand” around the Colonial pool. The highlight of the night included Miss Songkran Beauty Contest, lucky draw prizes and the wonderful live music by Wine N Roses and Norman King.
