Characteristics of the Golden Tree and Silver Tree used as Royal Gifts during the Rattanakosin Period
1. They are always used as a pair.
2. Every part of the golden tree must be made from real gold and every part of the silvertree must be made from real silver.
3. The pair must be equal in weight.
4. The pair must include entire trunks, branches, petals and leaves.
5. The pair must be equal in shape and height.
6. The pair are put in the same type of vase or pot.
The Golden Tree and Silver Tree are displayed in Museum of National Treasures,the Pavilion of Regalia, Royal Decorations and Coins at the Grand Palace.
