Teerapong Rodprasert, Director General of the Department of Land Transport, attended the launch of the GrabTaxi Driver Welfare Programme (GrabLife), a Baht 60 million (USD1.80 million) welfare fund for taxi drivers who meet the service standard quality and driver’s loyalty criteria set by GrabTaxi.
This GrabLife programme offers savings linked to life insurance, compensation plan for hospitalization and crisis support to GrabTaxi drivers. GrabTaxi will manage this welfare program via partnership with Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited and Kasikorn Bank .
