Nestlé (Thai) Ltd., Thailand’s leading food and beverage company, recently appointed Mrs. Audrey Liow as Chairwoman & Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Indochina, succeeding Mr. Wayne England who has been promoted to lead Nestlé’s global food portfolio, effective May 2015.
Mrs. Liow, a Singapore national, has over 27 years of experience at Nestlé in various commercial and leadership roles across Singapore, China and Switzerland. Her most recent positions were as “Regional Business Head of Nestlé Nutrition for South East Asia and Pacific Rim” and as “Managing Director of Nestlé Singapore”. Having worked in the ASEAN Region for over 10 years, Mrs. Liow is familiar with the people and culture in this Region.

In her new role as Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer for Indochina, based in Bangkok, Mrs. Liow will be responsible for driving the overall strategic direction and growth of Nestlé’s business in the Indochina Markets including Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar and enhancing the quality of life of people in this Region.
Mrs. Liow graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Chemistry. She also holds a Diploma in Management Studies from the Singapore Institute of Management, and has attended leadership programs at International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland, as well as Nanyang Business School in Singapore.
