New Jersey native, Jean discovered her passion for jazz while studying Vocal Performance at the renowned Temple University. Influenced by luminaries such as Carmen McCrae and Shirley Horn, Jean went on to grace the international stage with jazz greats Kenny Garret, the Yellowjackets, legendary bassist, Buster Williams, and many more.
In the intimate setting of The Living Room, Jean will enchant the audience with her intoxicating sultry voice, whimsical approach to phrasing, and playful improvisation. Jean’s outstanding vocal artistry will be complemented by the world-class musicianship of The Randy Cannon Group – Randy Canon on piano, talented drummer Chris Sweeney and Thailand’s leading bass player, Therdsak Wongvichien. Together they will create a spontaneous soundscape of improvised jazz.
