CapitaLand’s wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), has recently hosted its company annual blood drive. More than 100 of Ascott’s staff, management as well as residents volunteered to donate blood at the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross at Henry Dunant Road. This is the second consecutive year that all Ascott’s properties in Thailand are rallying together in support of this blood donation campaign.
Mr Jean Keijdener, Ascott’s Country General Manager for Thailand, expressed his gratitude to one and all whom volunteered and took part in the blood donation whilst applauding their tremendous support towards this worthy initiative.
“The blood donation campaign has been a big success again with over 100 volunteers and I would like to thank each and every one and especially our guests for participating in this goodwill activity. Blood bank supplies continue to face shortages resulting in unnecessary life consequences every day. With this concerted efforts by our teams we aim assist with such blood shortages in the country and improve the opportunity to save lives and/or assist those in ill-health,” said Mr Keijdener.
