Thai-German Meat Product Ltd, manufacturer and distributor of processed foods under ‘T.G.M.’ brand, revealed that the construction of its second factory locating on 12-rai land plot in Wellgrow Industrial Estate has been completed by almost 95 per cent and will be operated by 2015, according to Managing Director Jantana Puapattanakachorn.
Worth more than Bt1.2 billion, the new factory will be another milestone of the company’s growth strategy by expanding its production capacity to meet with rising demands of individual consumers, who are believe and trust in the T.G.M. branded products.
The company’s second factory will produce processed food products along with the safety and high-quality standard for exporting to major markets, especially EU and Japan. It will allow the company to increase production capacity by about 150 per cent.
“We have invested 15 million Euro (about Bt400 million) in importing a new machinery from Germany featuring universal standard, for the production of good quality food products at highest efficiency. The new machinery is set to be computerized and operated by a validity ‘Robomatic’ system allowing the factory to stock a lot of ingredients each time. The computer system will work around the clock to ensure that the entire production process will not be touched manually by human. It requires small number of staff for controlling the production process,” said Jantana.
“The new factory will be the most modern facility and applying with the forefront innovative production of the country. We will be able to blend the best production technology with the maintaining of best taste standard of T.G.M. sausage products. We hope to lead the processed food industry in Asean to cope with the coming implementation of Asean Economic Community (AEC) to be effective by the end of this year (2015),” Jantana noted.
