Photo Release: THAI Holds Aircraft Anointing Ceremony for Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and Airbus 380-800

Bangkok--5 Jun--Thai Airways International Somdej Phra Maha Muneewong, Abbot of Wat Rajabopit Sathitmahasimaram Rajaworavihara, presided over the Aircraft Anointing Ceremony for Thai Airways International Public CompanyLimited’s two aircraft, Boeing 787-8 royally bestowed the name “WAPI PATHUM” and Airbus 380-800 royally bestowed the name “KAMALASAI”. Present at the ceremony were Flt.Lt. Kanok Thongpurk (second from left), THAI Executive Vice President, Human Resources Compliance, andFlg.Off. Chalermpon Intarwong (third from left), THAI Executive Vice President, Technical Department. The ceremony was held at Hangar Area of THAI’s Technical Department, Suvarnabhumi. Both aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art passenger seats and personal screens with the latest in-flight entertainment system in all classes of travel. Currently, THAI has four Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners and six Airbus 380-800 aircraft in its fleet.
