Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the manufacturer of leading gypsum innovations under the brand “Gyproc,” has organized the "Saint-Gobain Gyproc National Trophy Thailand 2558" for the first time in Thailand. The awards are divided into three categories: 1) Innovation & Sustainability 2) Mixed-use/ Commercial and 3) Segment solutions (Health-Education-Hotel). The winner in each of the three categories will go on to compete for the Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy in Prague with other contractors coming from over 45 different countries to compete. The project winner will have an opportunity to travel to Europe, and their project will be presented at the 10th Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy in Prague, Czech Republic 2016. The second-placed winner will receive a traveling package to Sri Panwa, Phuket.
Richard Juggery, Managing Director, Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, said, “We are very proud to be able to organize this event for the very first time in Thailand. It gives us a unique opportunity to discover the three standout developments in Thailand which use Gyproc products, and consequentially allows Thailand construction stakeholders to compete on the global stage. Indeed, it’s a great chance to showcase Thai architecture in particular to project managers and specifiers around the world. The Gyproc National Trophy Thailand is a celebration of beautiful, sustainable, usable and cost-effective spaces and finished solutions.”
The Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy is a unique construction industry event, and one of the largest international competitions of its kind, created in 1998 to recognize and reward the craftsmanship of drywall and plastering contractors.
