On July 1st and 2nd, Diageo Moët Hennessy (Thailand), Thailand’s leading importer and distributor of premium wines and spirits in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand under the Amazing Thailand and Discover Thainess campaign,will bring the exclusive Southeast Asia World Class Finals and Bar Show 2015 to Bangkok’s newest luxury shopping complex EmQuartier.
For two days, Quartier Gallery will host the exciting and world-renowned bartending competition where 28 most-talented mixologists from seven countries will show off their masterful cocktail-making skills and compete for the crown of Southeast Asia Best Bartender.
For this special occasion, some of the world’s best and most famous bars, including Nightjar (London), Bar High Five (Tokyo), Bulletin Place (Sydney), Employees Only and PDT (both from New York), will setup their own exclusive bar stations where visitors will be able to enjoy exquisite cocktails crafted with World Class precision and experience the finest drinking culture trends first-hand. Tickets for the industry’s most prestigious and respected event are available at THB 2,500 per person.
For those who cannot wait until July, Diageo has a special treat. For the first time in Bangkok, Diageo World Class is brining four international mixology gurus from Award winning World Best Bars from around the world to shake and stir at four renowned venues. On June 29th, Woo bar – W Hotel, Hyde & Seek Gastro Bar, Bamboo Bar – Mandarin Oriental Bangkok and Vesper Cocktail Bar will be taken over by Martina Breznanova (Nightjar), Charles Joly (2014 World Class Bartender of the Year), Tim Philips (Bulletin Place) and Jeff Bell (PDT) respectively. The mixology masters will guest-bartend for one evening only starting at 8.30pm, giving guests a sneak-peek of what to expect during the Southeast Asia World Class Finals and Bar Show 2015.
