Amari Pattaya recently launched its "Consume with Care" campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day to promote energy consumption and raise the awareness of hotel employees, allowing them to recognise the value of environmental or alternative energy sources. The event will also promote easy ways in taking care of the planet, which include planting vegetable gardens, eating food from local sources, creating home-made goods instead of purchasing, recycling with papier mache, following recycling laws and policies, using the stairs instead of the elevator and turning off or unplugging all lights when leaving the office.
These are ways to help save energy and conserve natural resources, which are diminishing day by day. This event is very well getting the cooperation of employees.
Currently, one problem that has commanded the interest of people around the world concerns inevitable "environmental problems". People now know about the environmental crisis that the world is facing. It’s not something distant anymore. Many people are talking about Global Warming, which is getting worse every day due to our daily behaviour and use of natural resources. Therefore, we all should pay attention and help preserve the environment by changing how we treat our planet and making the world beautiful and sustainable for the next generations.
