Mangroves forests provide food, nutrients and habitat to many life forms along the coasts; and help to reduce impact of tides along the coasts. Sri Ayudhya General Insurance PCL (SAGI) and Sri Ayudhya Capital PCL (AYUD) have supported this CSR initiative for the past five years. Based on the latest information from the Royal Forest Department, mangrove forests in Samutsongkram have increased 27.8% in the past seven years, from 14,273 rai to 18,247 rai. An important part of the CSR program aims to provide education about the importance of mangroves to employees and partners so that they can become active members of the society in helping to improve the environment.
