BALI, Indonesia – Award-winning luxury beachfront resort, Conrad Bali, has launched the third installment of its Living Lobby Art Exhibition Maste's Series that showcases works of three accomplished Balinese photographers.
The exhibition, titled "Tri Hita Karana", meaning 'Harmony Among People and The Environment', will run for three months until September 30.
Works exhibited are by I Nengah Januartha (who is covering the topic on people), landscape specialist Made Pandu Wira Adnyana (on environment) and award-winning photographer Tjandra Hutama K (on culture).
Each photographer provides their own distinct and personal interpretation on the subject of "Tri Hita Karana", a core concept that lies at the root of the Balinese belief system, based closely on the topics of people, culture and the environment.
Throughout exhibition, the photographers will be conducting workshops every Saturday and Sundayfor hotel guests, by taking them on a "photo safari" at the locations where the exhibited images were shot. During the excursion participants will receive tips, instructions and insights into the concepts of the images and how they relate back to the theme of "Tri Hita Karana".
Conrad Bali general manager Jean-Sébastien Kling said, "This is an extraordinary opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in the essence of the destination and the revered concept of 'Tri Hita Karana' in our third Living Lobby Art Exhibition Master's Series.
"The prospect of working closely with these photographers offers an invaluable chance for guests to connect with the three pillars of 'Tri Hita Karana' – people, environment and culture – and gain an unprecedented insight into the true power, mystique and beauty of the destination."
The photographers
