Capture becomes top app for photos and videos storage with more than 350,000 downloads – dtac customers receive up to 100 GB free storage when purchasing new iPhone

Bangkok--17 Jul--DTAC dtac and Telenor Group announced the success of "Capture App", a popular online storage application. Capture App allows users to save photos and videos of up to 100 GB from any device at any time through the Telenor cloud in a structured timeline format. It also allows users to share stored media with friends via social media or email in a fun, creative manner through Capture's unique "Create a Story" feature. Capture App helps reduce the concerns of limited space for data storage on smartphones and data loss in the case of lost devices. Currently, more than 500 million images have been uploaded to the service from more than 600,000 users globally. After just two weeks, the app had already gained 175,000 users. Capture App has quickly become a popular application among Thai people because of its easy-to-use functions, free storage and ability for Happy and dtac customers to share their content. Customers using other services are also able to access free storage up to 2 GB. Currently, there are more than 100,000 users from other services that have downloaded Capture App. These figures have brought Capture App to rank second in the list of top downloaded applications from the App Store. Nearly 4,500 users subscribed and downloaded Capture App each day, and more than 120,000 customers uploaded and stored their photos in the app every week." In order to celebrate the success of Capture App application and to thank customers, dtac is providing a special promotion for new iPhone purchasers with Happy or dtac numbers from now to 31 July 2015 with 100 GB of free storage. Capture App was first launched in Norway by Telenor Digital and has quickly gained popularity. The app can be downloaded from both Android and iOS system. It received 4.5-star rating in the App Store and Google Play, higher than all other comparable cloud services. In Asia market, this app has already been launched in two countries including Thailand by dtac and Malaysia by Digi.
